Will Virb ever catch on?
I love Virb. I love the design, the UI, the video players, the flickr integration, and most of all the ease in customizing your own profile. MySpace is a customizing nightmare. Forget trying to traverse that tabled mess. Facebook is a step up but they lock down users from going crazy with their profiles. And I’ll have to agree with Kelly Livesay on social networks getting out of control – there are just too many. Can Virb squeeze its way in, though? I’d much rather use it in place of both aforementioned social websites.
The Virb staff seem to continually work on the site according to their Twitter updates – will they ever quit?
Take a look at the customizing power of Virb. Granted you need to have a little HTML/CSS knowledge, but even if you don’t – the possibilities are still endless. Plus, there are Virb tutorials where you can learn.
